Today is 9 years since the Terra Nova series was launched.Like many others,I am delighted that this blog is active.Over time several petitions have been filed the series,unfortunately all of them failed in addition Netfilx recently removed it from its shows.Since Fox was acquired by Disney they have own the series.Maybe Netflix and Disney have made an agreement to try to sell the series and maybe that's why it was removed.Disney has only one live-action series,The Mandalorian.So there whould be plenty of room for programming.It's a question of how much Disney would come in.I think for competing paltforms and transmitters they would certainly have one condition:High traffic and low budget.The series could only be approdved if we dig out some of the flaws of the first season:I'm thinking here of skipping the family soap opera and making the stroos more exciting and deeper.If any case the fact is that the series was treated badly:after 1 season it was canceled received strong moderate criticism and not negative.Fox said low views also contributed.I have a hard time believing this because the pilot was watched by 10 million,whic is not a small amount.,of course viwership decreased a bit unfortunately but it was also about 6 million with the fewest viewers.However I,alredy belive it was a high budget as the pilot was 20 million dollar and all the parts cost 4 million so here the crew spoiled it.I don't even unterstand the box office because the Firefly series was canceled after 1 season(also for ridicilous reasons)but there was at least a movie made there.Dark Angel was good and the same was canceled but after at least 2 seasons.The Terra Nova didn't fight anything even after that much time even the Twin Peaks got shout down after 25 years but still.Anyway I think if Disney didn't want the series then they could give it to say TNT since their latest series Snowpircer wasn't a success.Several Fan wrote scripts so it would be basic as well.And it could be filmed on Hawaii.Let's it say wouldn't come together now because James Cameron is filming the Avatar movies there but let's say Bora Bora not far from him is filming on the Island.Let's keep up with all that!
