  • I never saw the first Stargate Movie I did not want to. I have watched Stargate SG1 and those two movies with the same cast and Stargate Atlantis. I did not like the next last episode. It sucked they could have use that for something else instead. There was a plan to have a Stargate Atlantis movie which starts which the show ened.

I couldn't watch Stargate Universe for the most of the series. I could watch a few episodes. And they are gonna reboot a movie or the series.

    • There was a Stargate Atlantis movie in the works and even games but they all got shelved indefinitely safter SGU failed after only two seasons.

I saw the original Stargate movie it was great and they really did a good job with the TV series.

As to why they cancelled the SGA movie and the games is anyones guess.

        Loading editor
    • I got the feeling because the SGU had way too many McKays if you know what I mean.

        Loading editor
    • I know what you mean.

Such characters should be used sparingly.

Though they should've come up with a better ending or at least allowed a long episode ti wrap things up.

Like the last Atlantis episode really sucked BIG time.

        Loading editor
    • I thought that many SGU episodes were weird. They shouldn't have many McKays. But as much as McKays sucks. They had a pregnant woman being shot in the womb. What the hell was that about?

There is two guys I can't stand they are useless characters and I am stunned that they managed to survive in the show. Peter Kavanagh and Lucius Lavin. If they were killed I don't think nobody would miss them. I would enjoy see them being fed on. I thought Kavanagh wanted to explode Atlantis. I was surprised he was innocent.

The CSI: Miami episode sucks. I liked the last episode.

    • Was a while since I watched SGA but the final episode truly sucked and lacked any semblance of continuity.

SGU was weird almost from the beginning.

        Loading editor
    • What was SGU about anyway? It didn't have any plot at all. It just showned random episodes of whatever. SG1 had their things and SGA had Atlantis. But what did SGU had to go on? I felt about SGU like I did for Avatar. Just confused.

    • I don't if I am the only one. But I think most of the Ancients are nothing then morons. They created life on many Worlds and then created the two species from which nightmares are made of to kill and destroy those Worlds. And let their teknologlies be stolen or used to destroy and kill and outposts taken. But many of The Asgards were smart to not make the same mistakes.

        Loading editor
    • I agree.

SGU was about them going to that rusty old ship by way of a ninth chevron.......and yeah that was about it.

True the ancients created life and though only theories state they created homo sapien as a way to eventually get back at the Ori wich had the same crappy ergonomics in their weaponry that the Goauld had only a little more poweful.

        Loading editor
    • I think they should have explored more about The Aschen then about The Ori, and I agree about your statement what you said about The Ori. It felt like they copied everything from the Goauld and changed to The Ori.

Many Ancients said they don't mess with lower levels. Well of course not. You messed up everything and then they don't want to take the blame. And those who wants to fix that and help people gets punished. Seriously, They wanted have been destoryed by the Ori and yet they did nothing.

        Loading editor
    • The Ancients first ran to the Pegasus galaxy after the plague started and then after bungling the war against the Wraith they ran back and later they ascended which was another way of running again. Though this time leaving some of their genes behind in homo sapiens.

Theories could be that Homo sapiens were created to eventually be the guard dogs of the Alteran empire but after that fell became the tool for the alterans revenge against the Ori and also the Wraith.

      - such theories have been around in mostly Fanfiction but they ARE valid.

        Loading editor
    • I never thought of that.

        Loading editor
    • That's why I love Fanfiction.

For example Naomi Scott (Actress that portrays Maddy) has a small scar just below her hairline above the left eye is also something that a few writers have written a reson for mostly of her bullies causing it.

        Loading editor
    • About the Guard Dogs/Revenge thing you should read XSGCOM by Hotpoint where he explains his theories about the Ancient creation of Homo Sapien and the reasons behind it.

    • I like fanfiction to. But sometimes I don't have time for it.

    • Fanfiction was a great therapy for me and I started writing shortly after my father past away.

My father allways told me that I should write down any ideas I had.

      So I did.

I agree there has to be many different kinds of a "Paradise".

        Loading editor
    • I mean its called Heaven. So it has to be many different kinds. Otherwise its not a paradise. I am not angel or religious but I am a good man.

        Loading editor
    • I'm religious though I doubt the gods will go deaf from my prayers but people say I'm a good man.

I can not say personally though.

    • You can be surprised some peoole can see things where a person could miss. I am not a parent, and I was worried if I was I would fail while other people who clearly don't know me personally says I can display unnoticed massive characteristics of good parenthood.

Nowadays though I find them adorable....thge kids not the drink.

    • But see it from the bright side, the nature was really cool with the male. Because childbirth is painful.

        Loading editor
    • Though in most cases when his wife/lifemate is pregnant it turns the male into a servant.

        Loading editor
    • I know. But its time to give birth IF her boyfriend / husband holds her hand while she gives birth. She will never forget it. And through the pregnancy.

There have been many pregnancies on SG1 and SGA and SGU. But I did not like what they did to Tamara Johansen on SGU. That was too dark.

        Loading editor
    • Me neither but then again I think those episodes with the mysterious planet was bogus since thgey never explained squat as to the why.

        Loading editor
    • I have always been confused on one thing on SG1 and SGA and SGU. Its when they visit a planet it feels like they only visit a city or a village and that's it.

I get sometimes the impression these people are the only humans who live on the planet. Where are all the people? Did the Wraith kill them all?

I am not bashing on SGA. But I heard the point with SGA were they would wipe out the Wraith. 5 Seasons later on they are still alive. Michael single handedly almost destroyed both Humans and Wraith.

I found it weird and stupid when Tamara landed on a mysterious planet few minutes ago she never been on. You can't just say I like this planet I want to stay here and raise my child.

If a world after a few minutes looks great. Many worlds can do that and because of that many of their crew get killed. Remember that Ice Planet almost everyone got killed. They should watch all the records before landing on a planet.

    • True the gate travel was a bit disapointing in SGA.

What was most disapointing in all the three series was the lame weapons they had the only "raygun" weapon was the anti replicator rifle. Otherwise it was only those lame P90s

Could'nt they have figured out a way to down size the Rail cannons at least or maybe make a more ergonomical version of the staff weapons.

        Loading editor
    • I wasn't a fan of the Asurans and Replicators. They are the same thing. I used to like the Replicators it felt original and when the Asurans came.

It felt what are the odds of the same thing happening twice and if they aren't the same why would the Anti-Replicator Techology work on them? I never liked what they did to Vala, it was disrespectful to the actress and the character of the entire galaxy of Ori believers who killed in cold blood and would carry a ori child with joy they choose her?Seriously?

        Loading editor
    • Possibly a way to sneak under the rules by using a denizen of the Milky way galaxy I guess?

But in truth though the Ori was pretty much the same as the Goa'Uld except actually ascended beings.

The thing was that SGC in its many forms screwed up more than they actually did good.

How many of those "Orion" class starships did they lose? 1 or 2?

And then Earth's own starships, they should have continued making the Prometheus class but dump the Hangar and instead concentrated on anti fighter weapons.

And during SGU Ta'Uri was apparently at war with the Lucian Alliance which was nowhere near strong enough to actually challenge Earth.

        Loading editor
    • I am happy we can talk like this. I think people can like a show but they don't have to feel forced to like everything about it. Yes, I agree about the Ori is same with the Goa'uld.

Both of them think they are gods and they destroy you if you don't believe. But they don't want to force you. But still kill you if you don't.

        Loading editor
    • Exactly I think the writers made a misstake copying the Ori off of the Goa'Uld.

        Loading editor
    • I wouldn't care as much because there are powerful worlds. But they just ripped off the Goa'uld. It would have been better with the Aschen.

They are killing people with kindness while they are actually killing people. I mean in the episode 2010. Nobody thought that Aschen were evil beside Jack O'Neill and George Hammond. I had it hard to believe Sam was one of them who didn't trust Jack. What was wrong with her? How could she do that to Jack after everything they did together?

        Loading editor
    • I agree.

In the story "XSGCOM" by Hotpoint the Aschen are the ones to get the warning from the future that also give a hint as how truly powerful the Tau'ri will become.

        Loading editor
    • I didn't know that. Can you send me the link so I can read it as well?

        Loading editor
    • Just search for it on Fanfiction and/or Twisting the Hellmouth (Better pictures) XSGCOM Goa'uld defense or search for the writer Hotpoint.

There is also a wiki for those stories though neither the stories or the wiki have been vary active for almost two years.

      Sadly

    • OH there are two stories the first is called XSGCOM Goa'Uld defence and the sequel XSGCOM Terra from the deep.

The stories are crossovers of Stargate and X-Com (The original games)

        Loading editor
    • What do you think about them making a reboot? I am not too happy about it.

        Loading editor
    • Stargate or the X-Com game?

About the threat as I see it making a reboot of Stargate movie will be a BIG thumbs down.

X-Com the new one was okay need a lot of work and not just with bugs but other things as well as the story line.

Though in all honesty I prefer the original game's story especially X-Com apoocalypse.

        Loading editor
    • I don't remember. I was on Stargate Wiki and saw the word reboot with something about the show or movie.

        Loading editor
    • Hollywood really need to start bringing in NEW ideas.

Though with Networks like FOX screwing around like they do I'm sadly not susprised the things are going; We are in the age of reboots and renakes.

        Loading editor
    • That's the problem. They are empty on any original ideas. But I have to admit some reboots or remakes are good.

        Loading editor
    • True Teenwolf belong to the very few that is actually successful.

Oops and I meant "Remakes" not "Renakes" he he.

        Loading editor
    • Don't worry. I understood what you meant.
