Somalia

Somalia was a nation that existed in the future world of 2149, and much like the Somalia of the 21st century it too has been going through a period of wars, and foreign intervention.

History[]

In 2137, Nathaniel Taylor and Alicia Washington experienced an EMP in Somalia when the Russo-Chinese set one off, shutting down everything within 50 kilometers of the blast.^[1]

In August of 2138, Nathaniel is fighting in a war in Somalia, where his wife Ayani and son Lucas were kidnapped, and he could only save one of them. He saved Lucas, a decision that made Lucas hate his father from that day forward.^[2]

Sometime (year unknown) in a war in Mogadishu, General Richard Philbrick, Taylor's commanding officer, lost his right arm from below his elbow.^[3]
